–The Executive of the World Zionist Organization today replied to the criticism directed against it during the two day general debate at the sessions of the Actions Committee, which began its sittings Monday night.

Early this morning Berl Katznelson, Laborite member of the World Zionist Executive, outlined the plans of the Laborite group. urging the raising of an internal loan for long term credits to be used in acquiring land and to strengthen the various national funds. He emphasized. as all the speakers had done, the dangers inherent in the immigration policy of the Palestine government. especially in view of the fact that the policy finds support among certain types of Jews.

He declared that the Laborites were ready and willing to admit the Mizrachi, orthodox Zionist group, to membership in the Executive, but said that religion must remain a “private affair.”

Katznelson expressed his opposition to the ???guerrila fights??? between the Laborites and the Revisionists. but accused the Revisionists of having originated the terror.

He concluded by saving, “We Laborites desire peace, but we will not permit Dollfussism.??? Katznelson explained his reference to mean that his group would not permit the destruction of the Histadruth, the Central Palestine Labor Federation.

Kurt Blumenfeld, German General Zionist leader, paid a tribute to the World Executive for its political accomplishments, particularly on the immigration problem. but criticized the Executive for not keeping the World Zionist movement better informed.

He demanded the severest measures for the maintenance of party discipline. He also demanded the end of the Histadruth monopoly in the labor field and asked that a supreme national council be established for regulating employer and employer relations.
