Jewish Soviet Official Released from Post; ‘reorganization’ Reason

Jacob Yakovlev, Jewish Minister of Agriculture in the Soviet Union, was today released from his post. Michael Tchernoff replaces him in the Ministry.

The reason for the change, according to official sources, is reorganization of the state apparatus for purposes of economy.
