The age-old inherited German admiration for a uniform is making another tinder box of Europe, in the opinion of John Taylor, director of European study at New College, Columbia University.
In a survey made public yesterday Taylor declared that animated preparations for war are now under way throughout Germany.
“Every boy in the Reich above the age of eight is being prepared to defend his nation in the event of war,” Taylor stated.
