David Ben-Gurion and Moshe Shertok of the political department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine today discussed with Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, High Commissioner of Palestine, the reasons for the curtailment of immigration certificates for Jews to 5,600, one-third of the number requested by the Jewish Agency.
