Columbia Pictures’ production, “The Whirlpool,” had its local premiere at the Casino Theatre, Fiftieth street and Seventh avenue, last Friday.
“The Whirlpool” is an action drama in which Jack Holt is starred, Lila Lee is leading lady. This is the same team of principals which appeared together in Columbia’s “Flight” and “War Correspondent.” The supporting cast includes Jean Arthur, Donald Cook, Allen Jenkins, John Miljan, Ward Bond, Rita LaRoy, Willard Robertson, Oscar Apfel, and Charles MacMurphy.
