An independent campaign to buy land and supplies for Palestinian immigrants is being conducted here by a group of Jews who periodically sponsor similar drives throughout the year.
Funds raised will be used to provide tools, machinery and other necessities, as well as to help maintain hospitals, community centers, schools, libraries and educational and welfare projects in those communities where land is purchased.
Rabbi Harry H. Epstein is honorary chairman of the committee; M. Moldow, treasurer; A. Israils, asistant treasurer; A. H. Germain, secretary, and Joseph Goldberg, Mrs. J. J. Hellman, I. J. Paradies, Oscar Gershon, C. Jonker, Joel Dorfan and L. Isaacsen are members.
