Jewish Institute Gives Degrees to Candidates Sunday; Wise Presides

Commencement exercises of the Jewish Institute of Religion will take place next Sunday at Carnegie Hall. Degrees of Master of Hebrew Literature and Rabbi will be conferred by Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, president of the Institute. Rabbi David Philipson of the Rockdale avenue Temple, Cincinnati, will speak.

Candidates for the degree are:

Arthur Brodey, of Toronto; Jehudah Cohen, of Los Angeles; David Samuel Gruber, of Boston; Robert Paul Jacobs, of Syracuse N. Y.; Julius Kravetz, of Rochester, N. Y.; Albert Michels, of La###sing, Mich.; Martin Moses Per###muter, of Montreal, and Sams Aaron Shain, of Hyannis, Mass.
