Joseph W. Allen, founder and owner of Allen Industries, Inc., died here at the age of 68, Funeral services were held this afternoon. Mr. Allen was a liberal donor toward Palestine causes and local charities.
Several hours after his death his boyhood friend, former partner and schoolmate in Russia, Morris Hurwitz of Syracuse, N. Y., also died.
