Professor Laserson, leader of the Latvian Zionist Socialists, has been arrested here, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned.
At the same time it was learned that two Yiddish newspapers published in Warsaw, the Hajnt and the Wort, have been banned from Latvia on the charge that they contained false information concerning conditions in Latvia.
Several days ago the New York Jewish Daily Forward and three European newspapers were banned.
