5 Jewish Centers Unite for Dance

Five Jewish Centers of Westchester County have named special committees to cooperate with the Westchester Jewish League in conducting an annual dinner dance Sunday at Woodlands Lake Tavern on Saw Mill River parkway, Ardsley.

The affair will end the league’s first season. It is comprised of hundreds of members of adult groups at Westchester centers. The associations and their representatives are:

White Plains Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations-Alexander Kohanski, executive director; Miss Sara Jacobs. Miss Gertrude Sudman and Miss Jeannette Plofsky.

Port Chester Jewish Center-Louis Shanok, executive director; Irvin Panken, Miss Ida Levine, Miss Evelyn Panken and Miss Helen Feiner.

Yonkers Jewish Center-Isadore Belerfeld, executive director; Joseph Gantcher, Theodore Silverman, Miss Tillie Aranow and Miss Julliette Lee.

New Rochelle Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Associations-Max Feder, executive director; Morris Hacker, Walter Prince, Ralph Schain and Miss Nettie Zimmerman.

Mount Vernon Y. M. and Y. W. H. A.-Samuel B. Kaufman and Miss Florence Herzog, executive directors; Abraham Braslow, league president; Isadore Lefkowitz, Miss Henrietta Drucker and Miss Eva Rosen.
