Twenty-five hundred young men and women will participate in a moonlight sail on the Hudson Sunday night in celebration of the thirteenth anniversary of Junior Hadassah, the Young Women’s Zionist Organization of America.

On the same day the others of the 200 units throughout the country, with an aggregate membership of 10,000, will hold similar celebrations. The occasion is called the Bar Mitzvah. A survey of the organization’s educational work will be made by Mrs. Frieda Silbert Ullian, first president of the organization, in a radio broadcast Sunday afternoon over Station WOR.

Messages of congratulations have been sent by Governor Lehman, Felix M. Warburg, the Rev. S. Parkes Cadman, Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, the Rev. John Haynes Holmes, Rabbi Louis I. Newman, Mrs. Samuel W. Halprin, Morris Rothenberg and Rabbi Wolf Gold. Proceeds of the country-wide celebrations will be applied to the work of the organization in Palestine. Miss Lea Weisberger is president of the local unit.
