Jew to Resign from Hospital to End Strike

The strike being carried on by the internes of the Notre Dame and other hospitals here in protest against the appointment of a Jewish physician, neared ### end today when Dr. Sam Rabinovitch, center of the controversy, expressed his intention of resigning. He said that he will do this in order to save the institution from a serious predicament.

Seventy-five internes from five French hospitals were involved in the walkout in connection with the issue.

It was also feared that others would follow. A sym#athy strike by 200 nurses was avoided when the situation was explained to their satisfaction.
