World Parley Announced by Judaism Union

With “Judaism and Human Destiny” as its general subject, an international conference will be held in London July 6-10 by the World Union for Progressive Judaism, it was announced here by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, which also made known the names of American rabbis and laymen who are to participate.

An elaborate program has been arranged in which outstanding Jews from this country, England, France, Germany, Sweden and Holland will take part. A youth conference will be held in conjunction with the gathering, on the afternoon of July 8.

LEADERS WILL ATTEND

The following rabbis will attend the Conference: Rabbi B. Benedict Glazer, Pittsburgh; Dr. Samuel Goldenson, New York; Dr. Bernard Heller, Ann Arbor, Mich; Rabbi Ferdinand Isserman, St. Louis; Rabbi David Jacobson, Cincinnati; Rabbi Harry Kaplan, Pittsfield, Mass.; Rabbi Morris Lazaron, Baltimore; Dr. Joseph Rauch, Louisville; Dr. William Rosenau. Baltimore; Rabbi William Rosenblum, New York; Dr. Samuel Schulman, New York; Rabbi Jacob Singer, Chicago, and Rabbi Harry J. Stern Montreal.

The following laymen will attend: N. Henry Beckman, Cincinnati; Mrs. A. Berman, West Hartford, Conn.; Mrs. David Ehrlich. Denver; Mrs. W. O. Ezekiel, New York; Mrs. J. Walter Freiberg, Cincinnati; Mrs. I. Holdstein, Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. Otto Kohnstamm, New York; Miss Claire Newstadt, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. I. Nussbaum, Cleveland; Mrs. Emil Weil, Evansville, Ind., and Ludwig Vogelstein, New York.
