Only four of the fifty-two members of the Milwaukee State Teacher’s college band will go to Germany this summer.
They are scheduled to leave late this week together with other Milwaukeeans on an “educational tour” of Europe sponsored by a travel agency.
Originally the entire band was to have made the trip and give concerts in Germany. The junket was cancelled by college authorities, however, when it was shown that the trip would be partly subsidized by the Nazi government for propaganda purposes.
