Borough President Samuel Levy of Manhattan was scheduled to speak last night at a testimonial reception at the Hotel New Yorker to Rabbi Joseph Schick of the West Side Jewish Center on the occasion of his twentieth anniversary in the rabbinate.
The reception was tendered by members of the women’s wear industry. Judge Hyman J. Reit was chairman. Other scheduled speakers were Congressman William J. Sirovich, former Fire Commissioner John J. Dorman and Maurice Cross, president of the West Side Jewish Center.
