President Harold Willis Dodds of Princeton University, in making public faculty changes for the ensuing year, announced the assignment of a visiting lectureship in art to Erwin Panofsky, former dean of the faculty at Hamburg University.
Prof. Panofsky is a member of the International Commission of the History of Art. Since 1931 he has been visiting professor in the history of art at New York University.
