The Ku Klux Klan may be after Jack Johnson, former colored heavyweight boxing champion of the world and operator of a roadhouse here, but he doesn’t take the warnings seriously.
First a cross was burned on a hill behind his roadstand; and last week, a crank letter ordered him to clear out. It was signed “K. K. K.”
But Johnson has defied the cross-burner and the “K. K. K.” by decorating his place with bunting decorations.
The colors are blue and white, the Jewish colors!
