Will Leaves $4,000 to Jewish Charities

Jewish philanthropic societies, hospitals, and homes were bequeathed $4,000 from the estate of the late William S. Manheimer, it was disclosed when his will was filed for probate in Surrogate’s Court. Mr. Mannheimer, who died July 1, left “more than $10,000.” He was president of Louis Mannheimer & Co.

The largest bequest was made to the Federation of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of New York City, which received $1,000. Sums of $500 each were designated for the following institutions: Montefiore Hospital of New York, Hospital for Joint Diseases of New York, Seaside Home for Crippled Children, Arverne, L. I., and National Jewish Home, Denver, Colo.
