Detroit Resumes $175,000 Campaign

In an effort to bring the Allied Jewish Campaign nearer its goal of $175,000, committees are being organized to solicit those who have not yet contributed and to resolicit present contributors for increased donations. A total of $140,000 has been raised at the time the campaign closed.

Milton M. Alexander is chairman of the special committee, whose membership includes Fred M. Butzel, Judge Harry B. Keidan, George M. Stutz and William Friedman. The following are ex-officio members: Henry Wineman, chairman of the board of governors of the Jewish Welfare Federation; Clarence H. Enggass, president of the Federation; Kurt Peiser, Federation’s executive director; and Miss Esther Prussian, campaign secretary.
