For the first time since the commencement of the Hitler regime, it has issued an order without the “Aryan’ clause restriction, it was revealed yesterday.

The order, significantly, bore the signature of President Paul von Hindenburg. It provides that no “Aryan” restriction shall prevail in the awarding of the Honor Cross and applies to all three classes in which the Honor Cross is awarded. The order covers front soldiers, all participants in the World War, their parents and their widows.
