Catholic and Protestant official church organs rallied yesterday to the defense of the Jews from a severe anti-Semitic attack made last week by the Nazi district leader, Grohe. The speech was roundly scored by the Kirchenblatt and the Protestantblatt, the latter declaring, “We raise serious objection against misusing the name of Jesus to attack other religions.”

The Frankische Tageszeitung yesterday resumed publication of lists of Jewish lawyers still permitted to practice law, in order to impede their activities and to make it impossible for them to engage in their profession.
