Several hundred Orthodox Jews yesterday attended the dedication of the new synagogue, Beth Hamedresh Hagodol, at Bergen street and Watson avenue.

Speakers included Rabbi Jacob Mendelson, spiritual leader of the congregation; his son, Rabbi Nathan Mendelson, cantor; and Rabbis Kalman Kellner of Passaic; Emanuel Lifschitz of West New York, Bernard Birstein of New York City, Joseph Vinick of Brooklyn and Aaron. Simon of Philadelphia.

Also Dr. Noah Geiger, master of ceremonies, Joseph Gross, president of the congregation; Mrs. Rose Orenstein, president of the ladies’ auxiliary, and Louis Skui, representing the kosher slaughterers.
