Anti-Semitism is a Christian campaign, Reichsbishop Ludwig Mueller, Nazi choice as head of the Protestant church in Germany, declared yesterday before a meeting of 5,000 German Christians, Nazi adherents within the Protestant churches, assembled to celebrate the victory of Adolf Hitler in the plebiscite.

“Hitler’s fight is a fight against the Jews, the most brutal foes of Christianity,” the Nazi bishop said. “The German people may go through bitterness and distress, but will win a victory for Christianity, even if the Jews are resolved to destroy the nation.”
