Alderman Joseph Reich from the Sixth Assembly District, now up for re-election, has called attention to the fact that he had originally offered the resolution to the Board of Aldermen condemning persecution of Jews and Catholics in Mexico.

“Just so the record will be kept straight,” Reich said yesterday, “I want it known that it was I, and not others, who introduced on June 5th the resolution asking the State Department to take action against the cruel and barbarous religious persecutions in Germany and Mexico.”
