The claim of Dr. Max Naumann and his Association of National German Jews to speak for the Jews of Germany can be challenged, the Times reports from Berlin in connection with the statement issued by Naumann’s organization disavowing, on behalf of German Jews, any connection with the world Jewish conference at Geneva.

German Jews, however, the Times commented, under present circumstances deprecate foreign activity of any kind calculated to aggravate their plight.

Naumann is the leader of a small faction of German Jews who have endorsed the Nazi political program with the exception of the “Aryan” clause as it affects “national-minded” Jewish natives of Germany.
