The central committee of the Lithuanian Hechalutz, Jewish pioneer organization, today denied emphatically a statement by the Lithuanian government accusing the organization of having caused an anti-Jewish riot in Siauliai. The Hechalutz denied that uniformed members of the organization had attacked a non-Jewish druggist. The denial stressed the fact that members of the Hechalutz do not wear uniforms and that no member of the group was arrested in connection with the affair.
