Three California Jews Win Primary Elections

Primary elections tabulations today placed three Jews within striking distance of office.

Florence Kahn, senior woman member of the House of Representatives, won the Republican candidacy to the post after a closely contested battle.

Jefferson Peyser received the Republican nomination for State Assemblyman. Municipal Court Judge Sylvain Lazarus led all contestants in the primary contest for the nomination to the Superior bench.
