Yeshiva College will begin its seventh academic year on September 16, with its scope of activity extended at the request of Jewish organization and with many additional parents interested in the general education of their children, it was announced Friday.

The college now accepts applications for admission from all properly qualified students who desire to carry on their college studies “in an environment where Jewish culture and idealism are held as a vital force of life.” A course in Hebrew studies, with college credit, is part of the curriculum.

Authorized by the University of the State of New York at Albany to confer the bachelor of science and bachelor of arts degrees, Yeshiva College offers its students an opportunity to attend a liberal arts college of high scholastic standing where the spirit of Judaism and the results of modern knowledge and research are coordinated.
