Fishberg is Buried in Beth David Plot

Dr. Maurice Fishberg, noted anthropologist, authority on tuberculosis and expert on Jewish racial origins and heredity, was buried at Beth David Cemetery, Long Island, from his home, 1212 Fifth avenue, Friday, with no religious ceremony.

Funeral services were private. There were no speeches. Only a few relatives and intimate friends attended.

Dr. Fishberg who was 62, died suddenly from a heart attack Thursday at his home. He was on his way to his office after lunch at home. He felt heart attack coming on and returned home, where he was stricken.

Dr. Fishberg is survived by a widow, Bertha, two children, both physicians, Dr. Arthur Maurice Fishberg and Ella Harriet Fishberg.

Dr. Fishberg was the chief physician of Montefiore Hospital and Bedford Sanitarium at the time of his death.
