A special meeting of the political committee of the Federation of Polish Jews in America was held Friday night to discuss the situation created by the declaration made by Colonel Josef Beck in Geneva to the effect that Poland will not cooperate with the League of Nations in matters affecting the minority treaties.

The statement dispatched by the Federation to the Polish Ambassador, Stanislaw Patek, was drawn up prior to the official statement made by Colonel Beck in Geneva and was based merely on the official Polish proposal made to the League, the Federation explained.
