Fred Atkins Moore, director of the Chicago Forum, asks the Congressional committee investigating the munitions traffic to work on the mystery of what country is supplying Germany with materials of war.

Moore, who was in Vienna when Dollfuss was assassinated, thinks Hitler is not the menace to the peace of the world that France is.

“My feeling,” he says, “is that France is our real bugaboo because of the power of French munitions interests over her press and government.”
