Oranges from Jaffa do not enjoy a preference over oranges from Cyprus. The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce has answered the Chamber of Commerce of Nicosia.
The reply stated that if Jaffa oranges were in the van the reason was that, owing to decrees relative to foreign exchange, only countries which take German industrial products can expect sales in this country.
