The conference also took a firm stand on several other matters affecting the welfare of Palestine. It demanded the admission into the country of Jewish professional men having a capital of £300 ($1,500) who desire to settle on land owned by the Keren Kayemeth, the Jewish National Fund. It also called on the government to admit more Jewish girls and women into the country since restrictions affecting them have had undesirable results.
