Abbee W. Talamo, a resident of this city, has accepted a position in the Labor Department as chief of the division assigned to collect facts and figures relative to the relations between capital and labor in the textile industry.

The results of Talamo’s investigations must be in the hands of the President and his Board of Arbitration by November 15. This Board, henceforth, will settle all labor differences in the textile industry.

As regional supervisor for the CWA, and later as national supervisor of payrolls. Talamo has previously done work for the Labor Department. A local attorney, he is a graduate of Harvard Law School. Active in Jewish circles, he was for two years head of the Young Men’s Hebrew Association.
