A Jewish grandmother, Mrs. David Kaplin of Hartford, is enrolled as a student in the College of Fine Arts of Yale University. It is the realization of the dream of a lifetime.

Thirty years ago she came to this country an immigrant girl of sixteen. Now with a husband, children and grandchildren she is seriously studying art at Yale after having dabbled in it at the Hartford Art School and the Art Students’ League and Naum Los School of Fine Arts, both in New York.
