A tradition among the people of Afghanistan is to the effect that they are descendants of the lost Ten Tribes

Isidor Coons, campaign director of the United Jewish Appeal and of the Joint Distribution Committee, fund raising group, will visit Akron, Albany, Buffalo, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Syracuse to report on the progress of relief activities in Germany and Eastern Europe on the status of the Appeal campaign in the United States.
