Seventy-five bankers and brokers, meeting at the Hotel Commodore, pledged to contribute $185,000 themselves to the campaign of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies before setting forth to solicit more from their colleagues, it was learned yesterday.

The list of clothing and woolens firms whose employees have contributed 100 per cent to the drive mounted, now embracing fifteen firms.

A report by the co-chairmen of the women’s underwear division stated that its efforts to raise funds for the ninety-one institutions affiliated with the Federation are meeting with “fine response.”

Employes of firms in the cotton, canvas, and rayon fields will be solicited on behalf of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, by a new group directed by A. Grollman, president of the Allied Textile Association, it was announced yesterday.
