A letter showing the Baron’s deep interest in the upbuilding of Palestine and especially in Tel Aviv, to which he stressed the message from Paris last June, when this city was celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of its foundation, is being recalled here today by many inhabitants. In the letter Baron de Rothschild said:
