Spokesmen of American Jewry and leaders in the Zionist movement will evaluate the life and accomplishments of Baron Edmond de Rothschild, father of Jewish colonization work in Palestine who died in Paris November 2, at a public memorial assembly tonight at the Hotel Astor.

Arranged under auspices of the Jewish National Fund of America in cooperation with organizations affiliated with the Palestine Land Redemption Fund, the assembly is one of many being held in various parts of the country this week designed to stimulate a world wide movement to inscribe the name of the great benefactor of the Jewish National Home in a special volume of the Golden Book of the Jewish National Fund.

Tonight’s assembly will be presided over by Dr. Israel Goldstein president of the Jewish Nation# Fund, and will be addressed by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, James # McDonald, League of Nations High Commissioner for German refugees and Louis Lipsky
