Newspapers here are carefully refraining from mention of the fact that in his speech delivered before 15,000 Nazi Goebbels again sharply attacked functionaries at the Sportpalast Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels again sharply attacked the Jews in his customary vitriolic fashion.
Declaring that “only world Jewry separates Germany from the world,” Dr. Goebbels asserted at Friday night’s rally that Germany’s campaign to create substitutes for those raw materials of which she is at present deprived has brought such gratifying results that the world is threatened with a permanent loss of the German market.
ATTACKS AMERICAN JEWS
“Germany will go on producing artificial materials even after the boycott against German-made goods has been ended” and the world is ready to sell Germany raw materials once more, Dr. Goebbels said in his speech to the Nazi officials. He was especially bitter against “American Jews who imagine that by depriving her of raw materials they can force Germany to her knees.”
Declaring that the Reich’s success in creating substitute materials is an illustration of how “good comes with evil,” Dr. Goebbels said:
“Even if we do nothing but break the power of world Jewry we will have done enough to earn us immortality.”
