An all-star sports and theatrical extravaganza at the first annual Maccabean Festival is expected to attract a large crowd Saturday evening to the Seventy-first Regiment Armory, Park avenue and Thirty-fourth street.
Co-chairmen of the festival are Magistrate Jonah J. Goldstein, William W. Cohen and Abraham Wechsler. All walks of Jewish life will be represented, according to Dr. G. A. Lowenstein. The festival will be sponsored by the New York Zionist Region.
