Clothing themselves in the authority of the Executive of the Jewish Agency which they control, the leaders of the Histadruth, the Labor Party within the Zionist movement, have issued to the press a statement on behalf of the Jewish Agency, making it clear that a news service from Palestine to compete with the Jewish Telegraphic Agency will be maintained with the support of the Executive because the Jewish Telegraphic Agency has refused to be controlled by the Histadruth leaders.
