The trial of William Dudley Pelley, Silver Shirt leader, and three associates on charges of violating the state securities laws in the sale of stock of the Galahad Press, publishers of the anti-Semitic magazine, Liberation, will continue into next week, it became apparent today. Testimony today revolved around evidence of auditors on the condition of the concern at the time it was issuing statements reporting a “present state of prosperity.”

The state contends that the Galahad Press financial statements were incorrect and that Pelley and his associates were not licensed by the state to sell stock.

Isaac Nathan, whose concordance of the Hebrew Bible was published in Venice in 1523, undertook the work when he discovered the need of such a ready reference to refute the arguments of Christian polemicists.
