The arrival of the first Norwegian vessel, Banderos, which will ply regularly between Palestinian ports and Europe, was celebrated with a reception aboard the ship. Government officials, industrialists and representatives of the Jewish community participated in the welcome to the Norwegian sailors.

The Banderos, a modern vessel, will take a cargo of 60,000 cases of Palestine oranges in specially-fitted electric refrigerators. The ship will call at English, French and Norwegian ports.
