Despite the general belief that the People’s Evening High School, conducted by the Jewish People’s Institute, is primarily for persons of foreign birth, an analysis of the student body revealed that approximately one-half of those attending the institution are native Americans, and that many of the others have been in the United States over fifteen years.
Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, the institution has prepared many persons who now are practicing members of nearly every profession.
