James Waterman Wise, Heywood Broun and Corliss Lamont will speak tonight at a mass meeting called for St. Nicholas Palace, 69 West Sixty-eighth street, “to expose why William Randolph Hearst is lying about the Soviet Union.”

The Hearst newspapers have recently been conducting a campaign against Communism which several noted figures have charged is calculated to pave the way for Fascism in the United States. Others who will speak are Victor A. Yakhontoff, former general in the Czarist army; Anna Louis Strong, associate editor of the Moscow Daily News, and Dr. Harry F. Ward, professor at Union Theological Seminary.
