The long drawn-out battle of liberal professors at the University of Frankfort-am-Main to prevent establishment of a chair of racial science at the university was lost today when the government announced that such a chair would be established within the coming semester.

The University of Frankfort-am-Main, which is one of the historic universities of Germany, was established and practically maintained by money from Jews. A large number of professors were systematically dismissed by the Nazis during the last two years, but the university still remained pro-Jewish, in view of its liberal traditions.
