Jews of this city have pledged themselves to raise $2,000 to send a team representing Chicago to the Second Maccabiad in Tel Aviv next April, it was announced by Albert L. Schwartz, captain of the United States Olympic Team at the 1932 Los Angeles games. Judge Jacob M. Braude and Alderman Jack M. Arvey head the Chicago committee.
