Charles Fried was reelected president of the Jewish Social Service Agency for his twenty-eighth consecutive term at the annual meeting here. Other offices elected are Rabbi Samuel Hirshberg, vice-president; Joseph Saffro, secretary, and Harry Eckstein, treasurer.

Dr. Arthur J. Patek was honored by the medical staff of Mount Sinai Hospital here following his retirement after twenty-five years as chief of staff. He was presented with a framed resolution of the staff’s esteem.
