Miss Sonia Kay has been appointed executive secretary of the National Council of Jewish Juniors, it was announced yesterday.
The first supper-dance sponsored by the League of the Beth-El Hospital will be held on Saturday at The Lombardy, East Fifty-sixth street. Proceeds will be donated to the hospital, at Rockaway parkway and Avenue A, Brooklyn.
A survey of competitive sports and physical education in Palestine will be made for one month by A. W. Rosenthal, executive secretary of the Bronx Young Men’s and Young Women’s Hebrew Association. He will accompany the members of the United States Maccabi team who leave for the World Maccabiad in the Jewish Homeland on the Conte Di Savoia Saturday afternoon.
